Mackenzie began her writing journey with scattered ideas and sticky notes, until she finally took a leap of faith in 2024 and penned her debut novel, Cowgirls Don’t Cry. She loves writing heartfelt stories with swoony heroes and smart, relatable heroines. Mackenzie lives in Arkansas with her high school sweetheart and their three children.
